Cant decide between pie or cake...don't worry have both with this DELICIOUS combination! All that's needed is a scoop of homemade vanilla ice cream!


Each serving is 6 WW+ points and 218 calories.
Serves 24
Prep Time - 15 min
Cook Time - 35 min
Total Time - 1 hr

1 box yellow cake mix
1 1/2 cups water
1/3 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
Apple layer
6 apples, peeled, cored & sliced (or cubed if you prefer)
4 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 cup salted caramel sauce (homemade or in a jar)
3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter, cubed

Preheat oven to 350
Spray a 9x13 pan with nonstick spray, set aside
In a large bowl combine all the cake ingredients and beat on medium for 2 minutes, or whisk by hand vigorously for several minutes
Pour into prepared pan
In a medium bowl combine apples, brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice and lemon juice until apples are evenly coated
Place over cake batter, but make sure to not stir, we want a layered effect
Drizzle caramel sauce over apples
In a small bowl combine all the topping ingredients with a pastry cutter or your fingers until mixture is crumbly and butter is pea sized
Sprinkle over apples
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until cake is set and a toothpick comes out clean when inserted in the center
Remove and let cool completely before serving
Top with powder sugar or whipped cream or serve with ice cream

REMEMBER!! WATCH YOUR PORTIONS! I have found that many do best when they control their portions rather than deny themselves food!
